Explore is our group for 11 – 13 year olds (those at St Egwins or similar).
We meet every Tuesday at the Baptist Chapel from 6:30pm to 8:00pm
We start off every session with some social time and games. This could be board games or games that are more active. In the summer we like to take the young people out into the local park for some wide games and sports.
We also have time set out every week for discussion, this could be about a video we watch; a bible story; an aspect of the Christian faith; or an important topic about life. We try to make all discussions as inclusive as possible and ensure that the young people are allowed to express their own thoughts and feelings without judgment. Are aim is to help them explore what they believe in a safe environment where it’s ok to not have it all figured out.
Entry is £1 and there is a tuck shop where you can stock up on sweets! Maximum of £1 spend.
